Olga Selivanova-Shoff has become CEO of Morgan Hunt, one of the leading international executive search consultancies operating in the Russian market.
Morgan Hunt was established in London in 1994, and Olga became its founding partner and the first representative in Moscow when the company opened an office in 1995. Olga led the Russian business for 15 years, initially from Moscow and then as a Managing Director in London, developing it into a successful professional organization and a recognized executive search player in emerging markets.
A shift of focus in Morgan Hunt London towards temporary recruitment in the UK has resulted in an opportunity to re-launch Executive Search as a separate business, and the core shareholders have agreed to transfer this business to Olga. She re-joins the company with full responsibility for Executive Search in UK and in Russia and brings with her valuable international experience and professional knowledge enhanced by her work at major global executive search firms in recent years.
«I am very happy to return to Morgan Hunt — it is like coming home for me. I invested a lot of effort in the company and am glad that it remains a leading player in the market with a strong recognized brand. Unlike other market participants, our own offices in Russia and in the west have always operated as one team which allowed us to offer clients the same quality of service and solutions in all geographies. Morgan Hunt Executive Search is now entering a new phase of growth and I will work hard to make it successful», commented Olga.
Before her return to Morgan Hunt Olga was a senior partner in Rosexpert with responsibility for the firm’s cooperation with its strategic alliance partner Korn Ferry International, as well as the development of the CEO and Board practice. In 2010-2013 Olga was a partner in the London office of Heidrick&Struggles, and worked on a number of high profile international search assignments. Earlier in her career, she was a management consultant at PWC, a visiting professor in US universities and a research fellow in the Central Institute of Economics and Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Science. She was also an independent director and member of the Board of Directors of MDM Bank in 2007-2008. Olga graduated from the Economics Department of the Moscow State University and has a Ph.D. in Economics.
